Figure Sculpture (SC260-5, SC360-5, SC460-5)

• 16 x 20 x 3/4 inch plywood.
• Two 20 inch runners - 1 x 2 inch strips.
• 1/2 inch flange.
• 1/2 x 18 inch pipe.
• 1/2 inch elbow.
• Two 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch reducers.
• 1/4 x 6 inch pipe.
• 1/2 inch tee.
• 1/4 inch aluminum wire (approx. 10 feet.)
• 1/16 inch aluminum wire.
• 40 lbs. water based clay.
• 3 foot measuring tape.
• 12 inch and 11 inch clay tool.

• 16 x 16 x ¾ inch plywood board.
• Two 16 inch runners (1 x 2 inch strips.)
• ½ inch flange.
• ½ inch pipe,  6 inches long.
• One roll ¼ inch aluminum wire. 
• One roll 1/16 inch aluminum wire. 
• Four sets of 1/4 x 1 1/4 inch bolts, nuts & washers.
• One box of 1 inch nails or wire brads.
• One 10 inch or 12 inch calipers.
• 15 lbs. of gray Klean Klay (marked 'f' for firm.)
• If possible, buy 3 rake tools (large, medium & small). If too costly, buy a medium rake.
• Assortment of wooden modeling tools.  Each student will need one knife-edged shape, one chiseled shape (flat edge perpendicular to handle) & one saw-toothed shape (teeth on straight edge perpendicular to handle.)

Second Project: Planar Head

• 16 x 16 x ¾ inch plywood board.
• Two 16 inch runners (1 x 2 inch strips.)
• ½ inch flange.
• ½ x 3/8 inch bushing.
• One 3/8 inch pipe, 6 inches long.
• One roll 1/16 inch aluminum wire. 
• One 2 ft aluminum wire. 3/8 inch
• One toilet float.
• Your first box of wire brads should last for the semester.
• Four sets of 1/4 x 1 1/4 inch bolts, nuts & washers.
• 15 lbs. of gray Klean Klay (marked 'f' for firm.)

Third Project: Life-Size Portrait
