Safety and Security

The safety of students, faculty, staff and the general public is of the utmost importance to the University of New Haven at each of its campus locations.

The Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts of the University of New Haven has uniformed non-sworn security officers assigned to the campus.  Their function is to assist students, faculty and visitors of the campus with security needs and to assist with emergency procedures and notifications.

The Lyme Academy Emergency Response Guidebooks are located in each classroom as well as at the security office. There is also an online version under the Crisis Manager App that can be downloaded from this website.

Automated External Defibrillator Locations:
There is an AED located in the main building (Chandler) at the entrance of the Café.

CCTV monitoring is being conducted at the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts
The purpose of CCTV monitoring of public areas on the Lyme Campus is to deter crime and to assist in the protecting the safety of our students, faculty, staff, guests and our neighbors as well as property that belongs to the College.
