An exhibition of artwork by students of of Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts and selected by a jury of faculty members will run from February 4 through April 2, 2011 . The exhibition is free and open to the public Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The exhibition includes work of students in all four years of the Bachelor of Fine Arts program, and also that of non-matriculated students. All students are required to submit a minimum of two and a maximum of three works to the show. Their works are judged by department chairs at the College to create a juried exhibition showcasing the best of each College program of study. The majority of works at the exhibition will be available for sale.
The judges are Debra Goertz – Interim Chair, Foundation, Shira Avidor – Interim Chair of Painting, Randy Melick – Interim Chair of Drawing, Brian Craig-Wankiiri – Chair of Sculpture, and Richard Rose – Chair of Illustration.
