For more than 20 years on the first Saturday in June, Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts has held a special fund-raising event. One hundred percent of proceeds from the event go to student scholarships.
The event, which is largely run by volunteers, brings together on our campus the business community, long-time supporters of the College, and new friends. An exciting theme is chosen each year, and activities are located inside the College’s galleries and art studios and outside on the campus grounds.
There are many ways to join in the fun and support the College! Individuals may volunteer, purchase tickets, donate funds or auction items, purchase auction items, or underwrite specific-purpose needs identified by the College and students. Businesses may volunteer, become corporate sponsors, donate in-kind goods and services, donate auction items, donate unused tickets back to the College to allow faculty members to attend, or any combination of these. Many benefits are available to corporate sponsors and advertisers, and even extend to the employees of sponsors.
