Graphic Novel with David Wenzel

Graphic novels and comic books are a growing avenue for artists to express their own vision in a unique and meaningful way. It enables artists to write stories and envision the characters that fill that world. The movie and gaming industry have tapped into their imagination and energy, and are always looking for the next “new thing”. This graphic novel course will layout the basics of graphic storytelling, panel breakdown, character development and pointers on finishing. The instructor, David Wenzel, has worked for Marvel Comics, drawing The Avengers, D.C. comics, Dark Horse, and is recognized for his adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien’s, The Hobbit, into graphic novel format.
