There are many resources available to help you and your family pay for your college education. Lyme Academy College will help you in two ways: 1) by providing a financial aid package to those with demonstrated financial need and 2) by helping you understand and navigate through the process.
Currently, 96% of the College’s student body receives some form of aid, which may include federal student aid, state grants, merit scholarships, and loans.
Many students, including non-traditional students, finance their education through a combination of resources such as government loans and grants, family contributions, private loans, and scholarships. The Financial Aid staff will work one-on-one with you to help you understand the types of aid available and how to apply, including all needed forms and procedures.
Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts offers scholarships and need-based assistance. The College awards all aid based on individualized student need, from information you report on the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). When completing the FAFSA, you must list the University of New Haven school code 001397, for the Financial Aid Office to receive your application. To receive priority consideration for financial aid, students must complete the application process by March 1.
The College will notify students who have submitted the necessary paperwork about their financial aid awards ─ including scholarships ─ shortly after you are offered admission.
