College Hosts Sixties Fashion Show & Cocktail Reception at “New” Old Lyme Inn

Now sold out!

On Sunday, April 22, from 3 to 6 p.m., Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts is hosting a fashion show as a preview to this year’s highly anticipated PopArtsBall, which has the exciting theme of, A Night at Warhol’s Factory.

Designed to relieve the pressure of determining what to wear to the ball, this event combines a lively fashion show of sixties attire with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at the newly refurbished Old Lyme Inn.

Fashions generously provided by Tova’s Vintage Shop in Old Saybrook will be modeled by local volunteers.  Betsey Cooley of The Cooley Gallery in Old Lyme will emcee.

Tickets are $20 and include both a glass of wine and hors d’oeuvres.  Space is limited, so advance reservations are recommended.

Reservations can be made by calling Ann de Selding at 860 434- 3571, ext. 117, or emailing her at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

The annual gala hosted by Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts, which this year is titled, “PopArtsBall - A Night at Warhol’s Factory,” will take place on Saturday, June 2.  All net proceeds from the PopArtsBall will benefit student scholarships.
