Faculty Exhibition to Open October 1st

Artwork by the studio faculty of Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts is on exhibit at the College’s Chauncey Stillman Gallery through January 15, 2011. The exhibition is free and open to the public; all are welcome.

Fifteen members of the College studio faculty are exhibiting in a variety of media in the show.  The chairs of the College’s four departments of Painting, Drawing, Sculpture and Illustration, who are respectively Shira Avidor (interim), Randy Melick, Brian Craig-Wankiiri and Richard Rose (interim),are exhibiting, along with their colleagues. The College’s art galleries are free and open to the public Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. However,  the College and its art galleries will close for the holidays starting December 24, 2010 and will reopen on Monday, January 3, 2011.
