New paintings by Dora Atwater Millikin, BFA Class of 2002, are on exhibit at Walker-Cunningham Fine Art in Boston from September 16 to October 16, 2010. The gallery is located at 162 Newbury Street, Second Floor, Boston, MA.
A resident of Westport, MA, Atwater Millikin has received numerous awards, including the 2002 Stobart Fellowship, and prizes in juried exhibitions including the Providence Art Club, the Salamagundi Club, the Newport Art Museum and the National Arts Club. She is a member of the Providence Art Club and the Portsmouth Art Guild, among others, and is on the board of several arts-related organizations including South Coast Artists, Little Compton Historical Society and the Tiverton Arts Council. Atwater Millikin’s work can be found in numerous public, private and corporate collections. One of her featured pieces is shown to the right, “Fall,” 2010, oil on canvas.← Return to News
