Old Lyme’s central location and proximity to major highways and public transportation makes for easy day-trips to New York City, Boston and Hartford – home to some of the best museums in the world. Just 45 minutes west of Old Lyme is New Haven – home to Yale University and many galleries, art venues, restaurants and shopping. Surrounded by the natural beauty of Connecticut’s shoreline, the campus offers the space and atmosphere that allows students to devote themselves to their creative and academic studies. The campus is exceptionally equipped with classrooms, studios, and exhibition spaces. As part of the curriculum each semester, internationally known artists visit the campus to give lectures and to meet with students for critiques.
