| A special Sign-Up this year
provides ArtsBall attendees and interested community members
an opportunity to donate $100 and more toward scholarship
for Lyme Academy College students. Those who donate at least
$200 will receive a copy of this bas relief entitled “Helen”
(18˝” x 9˝”) specially sculpted and donated to the ArtsBall
by award-winning sculptor Jeremy Davis, class of 2005.
A past scholarship recipient,
Jeremy Davis received the Excellence in Sculpture Award at
graduation from Lyme Academy College. He also won an Award
of Distinction at the National Arts Club’s 29th Annual
Student Exhibition in 2005. Davis placed first in the
National Sculpture Society’s National Figure Competition and
has received numerous other awards for his work. A resident
of Middletown, Jeremy Davis currently teaches classes in
figure drawing as well as mold making and casting at Lyme
Academy. Jeremy’s work is in private collections around the
country and is currently displayed in the Sculpture Miles in
both Madison, Connecticut and Middletown, Connecticut. His

relief. Please allow 8 weeks for casting. Items may be
shipped on request; the cost of shipping and handling will
be added to your scholarship gift.
