A variety of student events take place on and off campus
each semester, under the direction of the Director of
Student Services. Events that typically take place
are museum trips to New York or Boston, yoga classes, meditation
groups, parties, and visiting artists. The Student Organization
plans the annual Halloween Costume Bash, "Drive-In"
movie nights with a huge outdoor screen, and Coffeehouse
Nights to showcase the wide range of musical and literary
talents that abound at the college.
Another popular activity that is unique
amongst Art Colleges is a real live art
history trivia game show, hosted by faculty member Jerry
Weiss, called "ArtSmart." Other traditional events
are the Thanksgiving Potluck Luncheon, the Spring Fling,
and the numerous Gallery Openings, Lectures, and Visiting
Artists that make up the full slate of student activities
on campus.
