A Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts education is one of the most important investments you will ever make. It is an investment of a lifetime in a single purpose Art College that is dedicated to one thing: providing the best education in drawing, painting, illustration and sculpture through the study of the history, traditions, and principles of the fine arts and the liberal arts & sciences, thereby establishing a comprehensive foundation for the development of the artist.

Lyme Academy College is mindful of the fact that the expense of an education at an independent art college may be more than a student and his or her family can meet with their own resources.

The College assumes that the student and parents together will accept responsibility for as great a share of the total educational costs as possible. Where such family resources are inadequate, the Lyme Academy College is committed to providing an aid program that will keep the cost of attending manageable for all admitted students who demonstrate need. Many students and parents are surprised to learn they qualify for assistance. 87% of Lyme Academy College’s degree-seeking students, received financial assistance from federal, state, private, or College funds in the academic year 2007-08.
