EXIT INTERVIEWS

Every student who receives a Federal Stafford Loan while attending the Lyme Academy – College of Fine Arts must participate in an Exit interview prior to leaving the school, whether you drop out, stop out, transfer out or Graduate.

There is an Exit interview scheduled during May of each academic year for all students with loans who are Graduating. If you leave for another reason during the year you are asked to schedule an individual Exit interview with Jim Falconer at the Academy - 860-434-5232-121 / jfalconer@lymeacademy.edu

Students are also asked to take the Exit Test on the NellieMae website:
http://www.nelliemae.com/index.html

Stay in Touch. Once you have completed your Exit counseling please make sure you send the Academy your changes of address, so that we may stay in touch with you. Who knows what type of Fellowship, Alumni exhibit, or Graduate School information  may come up that you could benefit from? If we have your current address (email too) we can make sure that you are kept informed. Thanks!
If you have forgotten about previous loans you may have taken out you can use Loanlocator: www.nslc.org . This is a fast and easy way to find out about loans you have taken out. Students can enter their date of birth and Social Security Number to see who holds their loans, how much they owe, and find phone numbers and web sites to the services or guarantee agencies to provide easy contact or follow up to questions or problems.
